Description
This summer, from August 20-23, we will be gathering young activists concerned with agriculture, social justice, climate change, and sustainability in Boston, MA for a Real Food Leadership Training. This is a great opportunity to connect with other young leaders on the east coast and leave with concrete skills to move your campaign for real food forward on your campus. This is geared toward students who want to take the challenge--to push their dining services to commit to 20% real food procurement by 2020.
Workshops will range from campaign planning to fundraising to using media to working with dining services. The weekend is designed to be both fun and serious, AND highly participatory. Come prepared to share, learn, and be inspired by others.
